CINQUE TERRE

Your personal driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Florence. Admire the beautiful Tuscan countryside and the breathtaking Carrara marble quarries en route to the Cinque Terre.

Once in Liguria, we will drive along the coast, through the picturesque hillsides of Cinque Terre National Park. The driver will be at your disposal for the entirety of your day in Cinque Terre. When you are ready to move from one town to another, he is just a call away.

We recommend limiting your visit to three of the five towns so you can enjoy the day without rushing. Here an example of an itinerary:

Begin in Riomaggiore, the first of the five villages. As you wander down the narrow streets, you will be welcomed by the smell of fresh sea air, and pesto cooking in small shops. Make your way to the waterfront, where you will find brightly colored homes stacked upon a striking cliff. And if you are lucky the fisherman will be bringing in the fresh catch of the day.

Next we recommend that you visit Vernazza, arguably the most picturesque of the five towns. Explore the pastel colored streets and cobblestone alleyways until you inevitably find your way to the small harbor. This is one of the most photographed spots in Cinque Terre. From the harbor, enjoy the view of the charming church and the cascading hillsides behind the town. Depending on the time of day, you could decide to stop for lunch. Look out for stuffed mussels, marinated sardines, and of course pesto on the menu.

Your driver will then take you to your third and last stop, Monterosso. Don’t miss out on exploring the little, historic old town center, its churches, lovely restaurants, and artisanal shops. But make sure you leave time to enjoy Monterosso’s sandy beach. Soak up the Lingurian sun and swim in the crystal clear water. The views from here are unforgettable.

After a day of exploration and picture-perfect scenery, it will be time to head back to Florence. Simply hop into your luxury, air conditioned vehicle, sit back and relax and before you know it the driver will be dropping you off at your accommodation.
